Possibly, this is after all Axiom, great customer service and with the dollars we all spend here we should get little perks like that, oh wait a minute we already do, 5% volume discount, factory outlet, special deals through Axiom owner club......

But the Catch is, can you use your Axiom Bucks on a purchase that hasn't been made yet for the product being ordered that is giving you the Axiom Bucks?

No, the person who auditioned needs to purchase the speakers and keep them past the 30 days. Then you will receive the Axiom bucks.

I was referring to if/when you audition and get Axiom bucks you could then provide them to someone else. And in your case, get the FMB's from the other member and let him utilize your Axiom bucks.

is it acceptable to offer axiom bucks for sale on this forum ?

are they xferable ?

While I'm at it, is it acceptable to offer my axiom speakers on here for sale, in case I decide to utilize the above mentioned axiom bucks ?

What about the trade in policy I heard about. I have an EP175, just over a year old, that I may upgrade to EP500 ?
well, you may have to twist my arm(wallet).

thanks

Randy:
Forum rules dictate that the forums NOT be used to sell stuff of any kind....Axiom or not.

My understanding (I could be wrong) of the Axiom bucks is that it's not so much a "formal policy", but more of a "Thank you for taking the time to let someone hear your system. Here's a little gift to let you know we appreciate it".

In that respect, even if selling stuff WERE allowed on the forum, I think it would be pretty tacky to resell them here to be honest.

Kind of like re-gifting in a very flaunting way.

thanks for the clarification on selling things.
I hadnt seen anything mentioned so I thought that might be the case.
As far as the bucks,
When I get them I will hold them till I can afford to upgrade.

I don't know if Amie reads this, but I strongly suggest adding a new thread/group in this forum for "for sale". It is a common practice for many forums. What do you guys think?

There's a very good reason that it is policy that no items are offered for sale.

1. Axiom sells things. If people are selling used Axiom items on their own site, they're losing sales that make them money.

2. Axiom does not want to be liable for any problems that occur with sales. Most places that allow transactions to go through (or by, or whatever) have extensive policies around the process. If they don't, they're foolish.

I think this is a very good point and dont have any problems with the policy.
I just hadnt stumbled across the policy listed anywhere, and was looking for verification.

I agree,

Axiom is in the business of making money (even though they are still passionate about what they do), it all comes down to good business practice.

It wouldn't be financially viable for them to have resellers on their site selling products that Axiom can't make any money off of.

There are many, many places to list things for sale online. No need for Axiom to add to the clutter nor add to their own responsibilities by creating a classified section. IMHO...
