Calgary! Who else? Surely not the Oilers...Oh I forgot, they never made it into the playoffs!

Nice poll, Scott!
So as not to skew your data with meaningless input, I didn't vote. I haven't really followed hockey in about 30 years (which is when Seattle got pro football and baseball teams). I'm guessing that Guy LeFleur no longer plays for the Habs, who also seem to be missing.
Have fun with that, though.

Detroit of course!!! In 2004, Calgary eliminated Detroit in the second round. Looking forward to seeing the Wings beat up on Calgary this time...muhahaha!

Yeah!!! No Oilers in the playoffs this year. They have been a thorn in the side of many teams in the first round.

I voted, even though I haven't been following this season with the Flyers being so bad.
As to where are the Blackhawks, I know exactly where they are....stealing the #1 overall pick in the draft from the Flyers!

I do not know who has the prettiest uniform, but I can guarantee Vancouver had the ugliest of all time...

I'm still not sure anything beats the NHL's brief foray into cooperalls. I remember being a kid and "having" to have those things because they were the coolest gear. Wow, were they fugly! I hadn't voted myself until this morning, my picks might be a little biased though, since we just finished a playoff draft last night. Go Preds & Ducks, i'm loaded up!

Wow! I've never seen an NHL'er with long pants. -Lol- That just looks strange...like he's wearing sweatpants or something.

I dunno, I always thought the big crown looked like the mothership from Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
and as for the Cooperall....Not only was it the ugliest, but everyone qquickly learned to hate it because it was way too hot. I'm glad my dad couldn't afford to buy me any.

Was I the only one that stayed up late last night watching Vancouver/Dallas battle it out in overtime? Ottawa and Pittsburgh really don't seem to like each other. The checking game was REALLY intense in the third period. I thought a couple of fights were going to break out. San Jose blew the lead but managed to redeem themselves in OT. This should be a great series of hockey. Tune in to this one.

If you look closely, it's actually Norm McDonald from Saturday Night Live playing Burt Reynolds.

Yes! I was prepared to stay awake all night for this one. I was actually anticipating a fifth overtime right before he scored the winning goal.

Michael, you are definitely the only person i know of who stayed up (and i know more than a few hardcore hockey fans)....of course we're a couple hours ahead of you too. I agree wholeheartedly, the Sharks - Preds series is the one to watch. Both fast, hard-working squads. Sharks have an edge in size and skill, but i believe Preds can outwork them. I thought the Preds deserved Game 1, they certainly outplayed them in the 3rd and OT periods. Game 2 should be wild tonight.
