In December of 2001 I was thinking of new speakers and read the excellent SoundStage review and NRC measurements on the M22, which led me to the Axiom site which I'd been unaware of before. I posted a few times in the following 2-3 months as "anonymous"(no registration required to post in those days)and in March of 2002 ordered my M22s, which I've found no good reason to change. One humorous post I recall from those days was from a purported M2 listener who claimed that the tweeter not only made his ears bleed but left a metallic taste in his mouth. I suggested that while listening he chew a mint to kill the taste and stuff cotton into his ears to absorb the blood. He was upset at not being taken seriously.

I think I discovered Axiom via the Soundstage reviews. It's relatively hard to find their review index page but once you *find* that page it doesn't take long to find yourself typing credit card numbers into the Axiom site

Early in '03 I was looking to put together a 2 ch system in the garage as that's where I was spending my time.I had scored a decent kenwood integrated for $30.00 and was looking for some acceptable sounding inexpensive speakers. I somehow got it in my head that... (hangs head in shame) BOSE 201's would be all that. I went on an internet quest for a deal on them and before long I had read dozens or posts on various forums exposing the truth. So I dug in- determined to get something worth having for $200. The JBL's that look like 201's were in the running, but in one of those forums I came across a review of the M3's comparing them to speakers costing $2k. Then I found a few more reviews saying the same things. The Axiom message board was a big positive, and I liked the "factory outlet" option as these would be covered with overspray and crud in no time. The lack of a wall mount was a downer but there was talk of one in the works so I sucked it up and ordered a pair. I compared them to my nht super ones and was quite impressed. They took their places in the garage and a year later the FMB came out and they got positioned properly. Still thought those q's looked way cool, but I was mr 2ch, having shunned prologic1 after hearing a freind's system. By '05 I was watching tv on dvd with the 2ch system, and prologic had passed, so I sucked it up again and bought the q's and an add-on processor. The vp150 was next, then it got expensive- lets not talk about that.

I found out about Axiom through Audioreveiw. After hearing of them I read every review I could find. The reviews were right Axioms are one heck of a speaker for the money.

I found out about Axiom on AVS Forums, as well as Audioholics while looking for info on a new sound system, which eventually led me to this forum!

I honestly can't remember Maybe Axiom discovered me? I just remember finding the site sometime in late 2001/early 2002 and visiting regularly until my basement finish project became a reality 3 years later in 2005. I'm here to stay (as most of us are I'm sure).

I think it was just before or after 2000. I saw and heard the "0" and "1" series in a local store. Frankly I wish I'd bought a set, the QS2s were amazing, they would have been perfect for a computer room. A year later I was in Toronto and auditioned an M3 at that point I knew what I wanted. It must have been around that time I found the website. The BB was very basic in the early days, very few members and most of them used the user name "anon", well except for BBIBH It's been an amazing ride for Axiom over the last 8 or more years since I stumbled across them.
