I havent received my speakers yet (thanks to some credit card issues over at the sales dept), but I want everything ready to hook up when they arrive.
When using the supplied wall brackets for the QS8's, how much room do you have beetween the wall and the binding posts? Is there enough room to use banana connectors, or do you have to use bare wire?

The binding posts are recessed into the back of the speaker.. No need to spend money on plugs, just use the screw feature on bare wire..

I agree that bare wire is the best idea for the cramped space. In addition to taking up less space, the angle at which the bare wire attaches to the posts will put less stress on the connection than with bananas.

My banana plugs would not fit on the QS8 using the brackets. They stuck out too far. I had to use the bare wire.
