I figured that was the most relevant issue to this board. And besides... < whispering > she's been known to look over my shoulder while I'm on the forum from time to time.

I reckon I'm not the most sensitive guy around - I give a massage with one thing in mind, y'know.
The beachball thing ain't that bad. I very innocently told her the other day - I was just joking around - that a particular dress she wears makes her look like a giant blue potato with toothpicks sticking out of it. I was amazed at how teary eyed she got.

You said that?! My wife has pretty thick skin, but pregnancy seems to have thinned it...

Here's some advice that I actually read in a book for soon-to-be Daddies. I would following it:

Under no circumstances should you make an "Alien" movie reference during the delivery.

Oh my god Bill, you Kill ME !!! hahaha..
You know in the movies, when the bad guy makes a move toward the hero ? And then the hero moves his hand over to his gun side, and has that "Go ahead, make my day" look in his eyes ?
Well, that's my wife when I start to cross that thin line between what "I" think is funny and she "DONT !!" hahahaha

LFE ! The rest is just details..

She's a thin girl and I didn't think she would be sensitive about her weight - even now, when the increase is temporary. Oh well.

You guys make me feel old... A 43-year-old papa of three girls, 16, 11 and 9...

In reply to:

I callibrated with the speakers set to large, but have yet to re-callibrate with them set to small - just laziness.

And back to the subject, I don't think you have to re-calibrate the sub level with the speakers set to Small. On most receivers, one calibration should take care of the rest.

AH! Then maybe I don't like it with the speakers set to small. After calibrating to large settings and then switching to small their was a noticeable lack of bass. We were watching "The Fast and the Furious" and those stupid little cars sounded more like bees buzzing. I cranked the sub up to 12 o'clock (from aound 9:30 - 10:00) and it sounded much better - fuller and more like a car should sound. EP350 had no problems at that level and I enjoyed the rest of the flick (though it is an incredibly stupid movie).

Hey tobz...tell me a little more about your upgrade from 50's to 60's. I have had my 50's for a little over a year and I am starting to get the itch. Did you sell your 50's and if so did you have a hard time selling them?
