Oh come on guys, when you are in a boat do you say you are swimming? I don't think so! So how is ridding in a plane flying? You have to get out of the plane to fly! The plane is just a ride to altitude! Try skydiving, it's cheaper and unlike piloting a plane, you really are flying! (You will not have a great glide ratio however;-)
