Of course, she's mostly deaf in one ear, so what does she know, right?
So do you stand behind her, opposite her good ear, and clap your hands just to see her turn the wrong way?

I like ERHU music. I visited the summer palace in Beijing and they kept playing this wonderful music all over that place. I went to the gift store and bought the cd - but can't remember which one it was. I have about 10 cds I like. Try "The Best Chinese Traditional Melody" or "Chinese Erhu Favourites - Moon Reflections in Er Quan"
Available from your local most favored nation - or probably Amazon.

Thanks for the recommendations! Amazon.com doesn't seem to have them, but I'll look around elsewhere.
