From the forum FAQ: Quote:
In order to add an image to your message or your signature, you must have the image already available on a web server. This can be an image on your own personal web page, for example. To place an image within a message, simply use the following Markup Tag:
For example, if you have an image called cateye.gif and its available from your own website at http://www.mywebsite.com/pics, then you would use the following image markup:
You can do the same for your signature. Click the option found on any page. Then, under the Main Configuration heading, click on "Personal Information, email, password...". Look for the Signature box, and enter your desired information, including any images/markup as above.
Note: To keep the forums loading quickly for everyone, it is recommended that you do not exceed 35k for your image size.
Most people use photobucket to host their pictures.

It should be free to sign up with photobucket.com
Then upload your pictures there, and then use the Image tag here to reference their hosted URL.
Let us know if you need help along the way.

Spending a few minutes getting acquainted with Photobucket is time well spent. I put it off for a while, now I wonder why. It's easy, and very useful.

Does anyone know of a good free site like Photobucket but for uploading videos instead? And i don't mean Youtube kind of thing but rather a personal webpage of videos instead of photos. So many webhosters, including Google, limit the file sizes to 10mb or so. My personal ISP webspace is limited to 15mb so again, my video file size is stuck. Short of hosting a home ftp server, which i may be fast headed towards, i thought someone else may know of something online that i have yet to come across.

Hmm, it appears you are right. A max of 5 min or 100mb from what the help site says though i don't know if that is cumulative or just per video.
Does photobucket have the option for private and public access to one's portfolio?
