Any updates on the wireless outdoor speakers?

I just did a search, and haven't seen anything posted recently. My boss really wants some wireless outdoor speakers. In fact, I think he may deploy them inside his house as well. I started to mention that Axiom had them, and went on the site to find a link to send to him, and...
Crickets.
Don't see them listed anywhere, and couldn't find any updates. Not saying I didn't miss it, but I sure could use some help.
Thanks for any help! Rich

I was just going to post the same question... any info out there in Axiomland? I'd love a wireless solution since my system is in the basement and running wires up the walls and out to the back deck seems rather difficult.

Wireless has been pushed out behind a number of other developments at Axiom. Not gone, but on the more distant horizon. I'll let you know when it becomes a little more 'near'!

Care to elaborate.

I have seen wireless devices and their attempts at wireless audio. Bluetooth (BT), 802.11b/g (2.5 GHz), and 802.11a (5 GHz) all sound fine if you have NOTHING else wireless on. But turn on your microwave, cordless phone, BT headset, Wifi network router, etc and the sound quality goes in the crapper. Granted, I'm not counting any FM transmitter solutions or ones in the 900 MHz range.
Even proprietary methods (Sonos for example) interfere with standard Wifi devices to the point that you can affect sound quality. I have yet to hear a solution where you cannot tell immediately that it's wireless. The technology has a ways to go to make it audiophile approved.

I'll say the same thing, but replace the period with a question mark.

A very simple, robust and cost-effective solution already exists but, for whatever reason, audio manufacturers are not aware of it.

If I had to guess? The A1400-8 and the computer speakers/wonderful happy cheap 2 channel amp everyone keeps asking for.
I wouldn't count on an official answer, guys...
