I just recieved my Axioms last week and i'm highly impressed, The ep500 shakes my skeleton and everything else sounds equally as impressive.
My speakers are the following - M22 VP150 Qs4 Ep500
I bought an onkyo 705 to run everything and ran the Audyssey speaker calibration to get me started, The results have me scratching my head. It made the following crossover settings - M22 - full range VP150 - 150 x-over Qs4 - 150 X-over
These seem a little wacky to me so i'm going to change them, THX recommends i set them all to 80, will this work or should i do something different?

I would probably set the M22s to 80, the VP150 to 80, and the QS4s to 100 or 120. Certainly not 150.

Mongo, the M22s were set full range because they do have enough bass extension to satisfy Audyssey's minimum requirement, but this nevertheless isn't the ideal when combined with a good sub. As Ken mentioned, manually change to all with an 80Hz crossover, except the QS4s, which probably are better set at 100Hz.

If don't have a global crossover why not set the fronts to 60 Hz? They are +/- 3 dB down to 60 Hz so you might as well take advantage of that. I have found that with a crossover of 80 Hz and only one sub that I can sometimes locate where the bass is coming from in certain movie scenes (only occasionally). If if is possible to lower the crossover of the fronts then this might help with this problem.
