I believe the drivers of the rockets are wired out-of-phase while the drivers of the QS8s are wired in phase. You'll want to investigate how much difference being wired out-of-phase makes when listening to music. And once you find out, lets us know too please . I had a pair of regular Sonys that I used for rears and I thought those were pretty slick until I got the QS8s. With the Sonys, all surround effects were localized to the speakers. My QS8s on the other hand are completely transparent. Surround side effects aren't localizable making the whole experience that much more immersive. My wife is really happy with the way all the Axiom speakers look too.

Or you can try a pair of these Legacy Phantoms for only 2.8k+.

They just look so, surround soundy theatre like. I can't imagine trying to lift the 50lbs to mount it though.

One tweeter on the RSS 300 is wired out of phase. The other tweeter and two remaining drivers are in phase. If Ajax sees this he could offer an opinion. He's had both in his home and I think he like the Axioms a bit more. Don't quote me on that.

Yes, both are good surrounds for HT, but I prefer the dispersion qualities of the QS8s. However, I prefer the RSC200 "Bigfoot" center to the VP150. YMMV.

You're supposed to eat on of them.
