That's a pretty horrible question to ask ANYONE, Tom. Parlez-vous français, Bob?

Always call the place you live a house. When you're old, everyone else will call it a home.

I feel like I'm going to have a lot of renewed fun with the phrase "making matters worse". Possibly even a new personal mission statement.

I could have had an LP !!
So I'm sitting in the living room listening to CDs (Eric Satie's Gymnopedies followed by Genesis - Trespass and now Sarah Brightman's Harem World Tour). Nice clear sound from the system, but the humidifier is hissing, the fire is crackling and occasionally popping loudly.
It's like playing an LP you found out in a field after cleaning it with your T-shirt and some beer.

The Pipettes - We Are the PipettesPretty solid album. I can see it being in my rotation for a while. Have a taste: The Pipettes - "Dirty Mind"Another song I'm late on hearing, which I like. If you don't mind overly-processed, check it out: Uffie - "Pop the Glock"

This video is making the rounds on Facebook. Impressive two bass arrangement of Rush's "YYZ". Amazing what people can do.
Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica.

Marina and the Diamonds - "Forget"Another solid track from the forthcoming album. Soko - My Dreams Dictate My RealityI'm enjoying Soko's (or SoKo, depending on where you look) new album so far. Her vocals took just a bit of a turn, but I'm liking them. Alien Ant Farm - Always and ForeverAlso liking Alien Ant Farm's new album, though I need to give it more listens before I figure out what tracks rise to the top. I've also got that Uffie album and the other Pipettes album in my playlist, so we'll see how those go.

I'm working on filling out my music library by switching all my streaming stations to "discovery" mode. Well, this Warren Zevon song came up and really grabbed my attention. I bought the album it came from and discovered that the rest of it is also fantastic. (It also contains his hit song "Werewolves of London.") I highly recommend it. (Ok, all you old people, you can stop shaking your head about how I only discovered this album now.)
