[quote=ctown]Great HT setup!! Is that leather or microsuede? I wanna quote Eddie Murphy in Coming to America...."what is that, velvet?!"quote]

It's microsuede. They offer many different fabrics and leathers, but thanks to the Sears Palliser fabric swatch books, I was able to determine that the cheapest fabric was just what I was looking for. It's hard to see in the pictures, but they are really chose to the Boston Cherry finish on my Axioms.

So Canadian taxpayers pay to keep Bombardier in business, but have pay a premium to buy their products in Canada.

And the dealers in the US close to the border are told they cannot sell to Canadians but when the US cutomers were going to Canada to take advantage of their dollar no one was stopped. There was a good article on this a little while ago from a dealer in North Dakota.

IT's tough for the larger retailers to cut prices in Canada, the Walmarts, Canadian Tires, The Bay's, Bestbuys have all been increasing stock for the last 5 months for Christmas. Most of these companies start their Christmas planning and ordering in the summer. Much of the merchandise in the stores today has been in Canada for a few months, most if it was bought at a different exchange rate.

However, this is a great opertunity for the smaller business to finally beat the Bestbuy / Futureshop / Wallmart prices as they don't have the inventory. This is one of the rare cases where large inventory is a bad thing.

Time to go visit that specialty store downtown and see what kind of deal you can get. You'll probably get better service too.

I am so happy Axiom as adjusted their prices. Just a great company do deal with.
