I've read here that people used two m2's as a center channel one above and one below the screen has anyone tried two vp-100's like this i have a large projector screen and am worried whichever spot i put'em it'll either be too high or low
... i was planning on using them with m22's

I have one vp150 mounted below my 10ft wide 2.35 screen and it works great. Some people mount them above, or above and below if you have a receiver that can handle the combined load.

I've got a pioneer elite 91 it says its 4ohm capable so 2 vp100's should be okay 2 vp150's would be stretching it

How big is your room, my single 150 does fine in my cavern.

12'x20' i know a 150 would be more than loud enough just thought two 100's may sound better i'd be surprised if no one had tried it yet

I would think even one 100 or another M2(even better match) would work as well.

Brent I'm running a 150 below and a 100 above our 73" RP/DLP TV that works great, it's a 3.43ohm load on our HK/AVR645 and the receiver drives the load with ease .... with the single 150 either above or below the screen I could locate the dialog coming from the single speaker but with the addition of the extra 100 the dialog is better centered to the screen.
Why a 150 and a 100? Because I was using the 100 in a smaller room and upgraded to a 150 whenever the system was moved to a larger room, kept telling myself that I'll soon get a second 150 but the 100 seems to work just fine in the interim.

The 150 and 100 sound so similar I know I had a hard time telling them apart when I did my comparison. The dual centers does add a certain dimension to the center,IMO.

Brenticle:
I had a VP150 above and a VP100 below a Samsung 61" DLP. The VP100 below fitted the stands and the VP150 was in an Omnimount above the TV.
Although different than the setup you are asking, just as a reference, I have to tell you that dual center channels, above and below the screen are really good for imaging right on the screen center.
As a VP100 owner, and understanding that you mention a Large projection screen, maybe you want to go for two VP150, or dual bookshelves carefully placed, depending on the size of your screen, which is on your mind already by using dual M22.
There is a lot of examples on the Axiom board to look into. From placement on the sides of the screen, or behind the screen, above and below. Send more details of the size of the room and screen and I am sure some of the HT guys will jump with a good example of what has been done with similar rooms.
