Thanks Jason. Since that is the last thing in my system that I dont have ....I forgot that its sealed.

I'm getting close to getting my VP150, or a Denon DRA-397 to drive my M3's in the family room instead of my 30 year old technics amp. Just dont know which is first.

It's been a couple of months since I built a cabinet to fit my VP150, and I love it. The front of the speaker is slightly proud of the rest of the cabinet, and the audio quality is great. This CC is a wonderful speaker.

I love that cabinet and the non-parallel walls.

Well that's the problem with using a shelf for the speaker. I can only put the components on the bottom shelf. I have my receiver and htpc in the lower cabinet. My digital cable box is on the floor underneath. Depending on the height of your components you could fit a dvd player and the Directv DVR on top of each other on the bottom shelf.

The PS3 won't fit on the floor underneath the lower shelf. I tried, it's too high.

DBD - great looking cabinet. How long did it take you to build something so nice?

I use the Furnitech FT72CC, which fits the VP150 perfectly with room to spare. We have the wenge color, which is a dark brown, that looks great with different types of equipment and furniture. Our 60" plasma was sitting on it, and it looked and worked great as well, but we did end up mounting the plasma. It all looks nice together.

What color axioms do you have? I have the Boston Cherry and am wondering if the Wenge or light cherry will look nicer. Thanks.

I have Black Oak Axioms. I think the Wenge would likely work fine with Boston Cherry Axioms, but the light cherry looks like it would work fine as well. The Furnitech holds a ton of equipment, and my wife even loves the appearance, and she's tough to please.

Also, with this type of stand, where the VP150 is below the TV, don't forget to turn the VP150 upside down from how you would have it on top of the TV. That's the beauty of the VP150--it's made to point down on top of a TV, and point up in a stand below the TV.
