Don't pay for someone to set it up, is there anyone of us nearby? I am sure someone would love to drop by and help and if not, I bet we could talk you through it. First thing is to go to go buy a SPL meter from Radio Shack or similar store.

Thanks Jake. I think I can manage the audio setup to my liking. I have an SPL meter and Avia on the way, in the end I think it'll just take some fiddling once I run through Audyssey & Avia. I like fiddling, so things should go alright provided nothing catches fire.
It's the projector calibration I'm most concerned with. But that won't need to happen until after I buy the projector and use it for a while to get the bulb warmed up.
I am just a bit south of Tacoma, WA (Dupont to be exact). I think I saw one of the regulars was in the area, I'm definitely not opposed to a visit once the ball gets rolling!

Did you ask Blue Jeans for will call pick up? Might save you a few ducks. I picked up some cables from them for my new home theater setup and was very impressed. I needed some custom lengths made.
Any day my custom cherry speakers should ship! Yippee.

I thought about it, but shipping was only $12.50, which is exactly what it would cost in gas to make the trip Grats on the speakers! I was thinking of going with a custom wood finish, but I'm pretty sure the boston cherry will be quiet nice.

Yeah I have to say I was very surprised by the build quality for my cables that I ordered from Monoprice.
