Is it national "get some work at work done" week or something? This board has been DEAD so far this week. I don't know what to do with myself during my down time here at work when there are no new posts to respond to.

Of course I don't know what the point is of posting a message like this. No one is here to read it.

OK, you guys asked for it... (in the true pmbuko style)
Hi, I want to know if my 300W amp is enough to power the M80s at low level volumes, or should I get the Rockets? I don't really like bright, metallic sound, so I'm leaning towards the Rockets, but I don't know if they'll play loud enough.
I want to make sure I break them in long enough, so I'm going to leave them on for a month.
Also, what's the multiplier you guys use to tell how much more to spend on cables based on speaker price? I'm thinking 5x is a good idea, so if I got the M80s, I'd buy ~$6000 speaker cable. Do you think that's enough?
Also, I think front projection sucks, so I'm going to get 4 plasmas and link them together to make one giant screen. Then I'll leave it on one picture all day.
Should I calibrate the system by ear? Because I trust that a lot more than a Radio Shack meter.
What kind of green marker do you guys use on your CDs? I've found that green Sharpies produce a clearer sound than Magic Markers.
That good enough for y'all?
Bwah ha ha!
