I used the metal style that pulls back against the drywall, if that makes any sense. But I also put at least 3 screws into studs. Call me paranoid.

I used plain ol screws, no plugs, anchors etc. With all the screws that came with the QS8's, the brackets are very secure....and I din't hit 1 single stud (I don't think)! Don't worry about it.

Gravity does work and when combined with vibrations from the speaker those screws will come loose sometime, I would be checking them on a regular basis.

Anyone have some extra good luck that they could send over here ? I was going to set everything up this weekend (today) but my elevator broke down on Thursday so I can't get downstairs . Having to wait at least another week with beautiful speakers sitting in a box is pure agony LOL. Damn legs

What do you do if the building catches on fire before they fix the elevator? Oh, wait. I know! Call someone on the first floor to carry those boxes out of the building ASAP.
