I enjoyed reading the first 7, but then the next two books I read seemed to contain way too many machinations and I ran out of steam. I need to be able to follow plotlines without having to take notes and make spreadsheets. Exactly what happened to me. I do wish I had finished but after awhile I started forgetting some of the material by the time the next book came out.
