This was over the entire summer :-)

Yea, Blue Moon summer ale is good, honey moon is the alternate name for it.

Really liked Sam Adams Honey Porter, Sam Adams Summer Ale, Chimay, the Rogue beers, Duvel was pretty amazing, and Spaten Optimator was delicious (had that on tap). Blue Moon on tap with an orange is always one of my favorites, from the bottle it just isn't as good.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is also a solid choice.

Guinness Extra Stout grows on you after a while, it makes Draught taste like water.

Dos Equis Amber with a lime while eating chips/salsa is a treat.

Yep...

Nice one!

and Yes. Stella is a poison. Here is what it will do to you.

Stelllllaaaaa

On a lighter note. The annual Seaport Beer Festival is on the weekend after next in Halifax. This is where, once a year, I can drive 4 hours to hang out with my brother and experience 105 varieties of beer that I can't get in our communist like, liquor menu controlled home province. But you have all heard that rant before.

THAT'S my boy!

Stella isn't horrible on draught sometimes.

I love discovering new beers I enjoy.

Most recent thing was Sierra Nevada Southern Hemisphere fresh hop ale. Great balance, pretty resiny, not citric, that classic SN yeast. Yummmm.

Just don't use it when driving the NSX!

Good one, Homie.

I suspect most of us red-blooded Axiomites did.

I had a couple Stellas on draught before the dark knight. I nodded at the beertender thinking it meant "check" when we had all of our food and napkins in a huge pile, but he thought it meant another beer.

I actually enjoyed the single-dimensional flavor with wings.

Spaten Optimator and Rogue Dead Guy Ale are just top notch. I could drink those any day of the week.

For those of you that like the hoppy beers, these are among the hoppiest I've run across.

Locally, and I mean a half hour drive in either direction, we've got this and this that are quite tasty. You can probably find Abita at Pier One Imports, but the other is still fairly local.
