I just whipped up a right tasty dinner and all the ingredients came from Trader Joe's. 1 bag fusilli pasta (the corkscrew kind) 1 pint mixed chopped carrots, celery, onion 1 jar tomato basil marinara sauce 1 package (of 4) sweet bell pepper and onion chicken sausages a few sun-dried tomatoes, chopped In a large pan, I glogged in a little EV olive oil and sauteed the chopped veggies. I added salt, pepper, basil, oregano, and a good dose of smoked paprika. When the veggies were soft and starting to stick to the bottom, I added the tomato sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, and the sliced sausages, then stirred and covered it. When the pasta was done cooking, I drained it and then combined it with the sauce. I'm eating it now topped with shredded cheese and washing it down with Fat Weasel Ale. All in all, a very satisfying meal, and I've got leftovers to last a couple days. Did I mention I'm a bachelor until the end of the month?

Odd, I too come up with the best meals when I am a bachelor for any period of time that my wife is traveling. Last week I came up with the best maple vinaigrette salad dressing ever, but it was one of those, just keep adding stuff till it tastes right, things and now I can no longer replicate the recipe exactly.
With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

You're welcome any day of the week medic8r. I need to get some painting done (80% of the upstairs), but other than that, my schedule is open.

Sweet!
I know you are joking, but Peter and I are planning our next official meet-up on Oct 2-3, for a concert Thursday night, extending the party into the weekend.
Check the airfare around those dates.
Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica.

What's the concert? Maybe Tom and I will crash it.
Or maybe we'll go to our OWN concert.
