Randy your room is so big no one notices the raceways anyway, they are all too busy looking at the open range.

Is price the only reason you don't like Axiom's QS stands?
They are more expensive than other stands, but you can get them for a few bucks less at the outlet. I bet they'd be as perfect as the 'regular' ones. Just a thought, anyway.
I can't vouch for the QS stands (my QS8's are wall mounted), but the FMS24's that I own that support my M22's are quite nice. Still expensive, yes, but they are fairly nice stands that have held up perfectly well for the 5,6 years that I've owned them.

Sorry Randy, I was not implying anything about your set up. I actually went and bought the raceways to see how they would look on my walls and was not happy with the appearance. I think I should be able to pull off the installation using sanus HF1 stands. It might be better also since they have adjustable heights to 58 inches if I am not wrong and also ability to bend the main stand a few degrees to optimize hearing positions. Given it takes a few tries to get the best location, using fixed height speakers or installing them on the walls does not seem to be the best option.

No problem. There are many brands of raceways, I purchased mind from cable organizer dot com. The are used to route my HDMI and Component cables to my projector.
