I head Oppo recently let out news on an Blu Ray Player. Wonder what its price is going to be... Here's the sneak peek from Audioholics

I have an Oppo 980. I works great. The only thing I dont like is that the main left and right audio out is part of the 7 channel out setup. So you cant run Analog to your TV and reciever without using splitters or a switch box.
The picture quality is fantastic and the audio sounds great. A quality piece of hardware.

I really like our Oppo, I'll most certainly get one of their BR players whenever it gets on the market.

I've just read that their Blue Ray player won't be released with the new HD audio formats, but will be added to a firmware update at a later date.
The only reasonable argument for owning a gun is to protect yourself from the police.

Anticipated release is this winter (November-February) with a projected price tag of $500-$700.
