I'm trying to come up with items for my Christmas list and thought a new monitor for the computer would be good, since I'm using a 15" flat screen viewsonic currently that is about 5-6 years old. I plan on making this one a secondary monitor and have the new one be the primrary. Anyway, I haven't researched monitors in a while so wanted some suggestions. After a quick search, I'm leaning towards this one. Gateway HD2201. I'm looking at 19" and up, probably not bigger than 22, since I think bigger than that and it gets tough to see from one side to the other as close as I'll be sitting to it. It should be good for gaming. This one seems like a good deal for $219, but I want to see what else is out there.

I would be looking at a monitor with a refresh rate of 2ms for gaming purposes. I like Samsung and I picked up my current one last year, a Samsung 226BW, for $259. I agree with the idea of not larger than 22", but I still really like the idea of a larger screen, but I do find it hard to justify the extra money for only an inch or 2 larger screen.
