Here's a dumb question...Does anyone remember if their m60s or m80s came packed with the grills on, or off? I'm trying to repack mine for a move, and the foam seems too loose with the grill off, but doesn't seem to want to fit with the grills on. I've had them for a year, so I can't remember just how they came.

Any general advice/tricks on boxing and moving these suckers is also welcome.

My grill is turned off right now, to dang cold to grill. Oh wait, your not talking about those grills. I can't remember, but I think mine were on, though it seems my Qs8's were off.

I grilled yesterday (allthough the weather in OK yesterday was pretty nice). It's never to cold to grill on a weber summit S470... plenty of burners to keep me warm!

I do plan on using my grill all throughout the winter though.

Me too, even on those frigid days whenever the temps drop way down into the lower 70's ... 'cause I'm tough. \:D

We had 6 inches of snow on Sunday. It was -3C and icy when I was BBQing some steaks for dinner last night. I have BBQ'd in -30 temps. It is never too cold.

Actually that does as we sometimes hit that mark during our winter thanks to our chinooks. \:\) Only difference is you will be wearing a really warm coat at that temp, while I will be in shorts and a Tshirt.

-16C or about 2F on the weekend. Roadside Chicken on the charcoal grill. Yum.

I find smoking works better than grilling in the winter though... you don't have to tend the Q so much so you can clear the driveway at the same time without dinner turning into a small charred lump.

It is never to cold to grill.

I just shoveled a foot of snow off the deck just so I could grll, and I've been known to grill in -20 degree weather.

It's not to cold for the grill, you're just afraid of the snow \:\)

My comments yesterday about how nice the weather is in Austin is coming back to haunt me... it's down to the 30s here this morning with an icy slush on the ground! (and I did originally plan to grill today...)

If it weren't for the drizzle today, it would be downright gorgeous outside today. It's 62°F out right now.

It was a little over 80 degrees F with a due south wind today, very balmy and humid ... I wouldn't mind a drop of about 10 degrees so I'll trade some of this with you guys up north.

No grilling tonight but I did drag out the turkey fryer and made a low country boil which goes very well with good company and a brew or two.

Speaking of the boxes, I wonder if empty speaker boxes can be bought from Axiom.

It seems to me that you can. I can remember a question awhile ago about purchasing boxes and Amie said it was possible.

When I traded in my M40s, I bought some boxes from Axiom. I have no idea what I paid for them though. Lemme check my emails from back then. . .

Yes, but for $240, they promise to try not to damage the contents of the boxes you ship.

In the case where you are shipping boxes, I'm not sure they'd even try! ;\)

Actually, I remember from a while ago when someone had to return a defective speaker and the orig box had been totalled during shipping, Axiom had to send out a new box (shipped flat) twice due to further damage from shipping.
