Best Reciever for Axiom Epic 80 System (7.1)?
1. Denon 3803?
2. NAD T762/770?
3. Yamaha stuff?
4. Other recommendations?
Thanks!

You might want to look into Pioneer Elites and Yamahas with auto calibration features. I found this very helpful. I am running a VSX-53TX with a Carver 2-channel amp. The vsx-53tx is 7 channel but stereo sounds much more detailed with the Carver. I thought I was going to use 80%HT but turned out to be 80% music.
I have not had any problems with the VSX-53TX powering the 4 ohm M80s or all 7.1
Work in progress:
Pioneer Elite PRO630HD
Pioneer Elite VSX-53TX
Pioneer Elite DV-45A
Carver TFM-15
Axiom M80s, VP150, QS8s
Temporary: Bose AM5s for 7.1 and old HK 8" sub

Also check out the Outlaw seperates at www.outlawaudio.com or Rotel separates at www.audiogon.com . Separates produce better sound if you can afford it.
Otherwise, the recievers you choose above are all excellent. I would go with Pioneer Elite 55txi if I were you though because of the MCACC and I-link features. And Elite products look damn cool with their glossy finish.
