My grandma used to make us peanut butter and bacon sandwiches. They were good.

I've always wondered about those. I've heard that that was actually a very popular way to eat peanut butter early in the century.

One of the greatest things on earth is at a market where there are food vendors that sell grilled peameal bacon (aka Canadian bacon) on a bun. It is sooooo good!

I sliced the slab of peameal thin, fried it in a pan and put it on a nice crusty roll with mayo, lettuce and tomato and topped it all with melted cheese. YUM!

Throw a nice, runny egg on top of that too...getting...hun..gry..

That was breakfast yesterday; peameal bacon on a bun at Carousel in the St. Lawrence Market (Toronto). I think it's called Carousel... started with a "C" anyways
