Thought I'd share my little system.

Yes, it may NOT make a difference, but it won't cost much (a cable and some time?) to try.

And you can tweak the settings a bit to make it work. I was thinking of setting it up relatively close to the listening position and with perhaps not too much gain. I know it's not going to help the overall frequency response, but it might even out the curve for those not sitting in the sweet spot.

I'm sorry I neglected to compliment you on the room; it is very inviting.

Appreciate the input. I'll have to give the old sub a chance. Fortunatly it weighs maybe 1/4 that of the EP500. With a decent length cable I could move it around the room fairly easily.

My HT also needs to double as a living room. Our home does have a nice basement that I would LOVE to dedicate as a HT, but with three children <6yo, I need to banish them somewhere! (playroom)

I sure love it and getting the Axiom speakers REALLY brings things together. Now I just need a Blu-ray player and my old Hitachi 51" 720p projection TV to eventually give up the ghost! That would give me an excuse to HAVE to go out and by a new plasma or lcd 52"!

That's why I call my basement the Wreck room, it covers everything from my HT to the kids play room (we have played baseball and soccer down there) to my work out room complete with a tread mill and power cage. Not much room at only 384 sq.ft. where all this sits.
