Hello all, I recently began building my Axiom system this past December and now I am a set of QS8's away from completion. I have the M80s, VP150 and just got my EP500. Anyhow, I have these beasts hooked up to an Onkyo 806. Does anybody else with the 806 use the Audyssey to calibrate or did you, (fellow 806 owners), manually set speaker/subwoofer levels. Ive found that the Audyssey sets the Sub really low. Im still tweaking the system. Oh yeah, does anybody else with an EP500, with rubber feet on wood floors, find that the sub walks backwards at louder levels?

There is no right or wrong here. It all comes down to if you like the results audyssey provides. There are many people who use it and like the results they get, others don't (like me). Does not hurt to try it out.
I’m armed and I’m drinking. You don’t want to listen to advice from me, amigo.

Ive found that the Audyssey sets the Sub really low. Many people bump up the sub a bit from "flat", whether Audyssey or manual metering was used for the balancing of levels....
