I've been giddy all day and some of you here are probably the only people I know that would understand. I scored a pair of tix to see Prince next weekend at his mid-night show at Club Nokia in LA!

i don't know anyone. Believe it or not I got these the old fashioned way...refresh, refresh, refresh, BUY! at ticketmaster.com! I'm going solo, and have a pair. I'm looking into selling the extra ticket so I can buy a seat at the earlier 7pm show at the larger Nokia Theatre. Maybe even trading with another fan. Seeing Prince twice in one night would be insane.

I'm soooo spoiled though. My first Prince live experience won't ever be surpassed. 5th row - no more than 20-30 feet from him. He played for well over two hours. Came back twice for two encores and then left.
The crowd was so insane we yelled, hollered and cheered for about 15 minutes - refusing to leave as the ushers begged us to. Then the man came back. He called us crazy, saying he could hear us from the bus and proceeded to play for about another 45 minutes.
Absolutely amazing.

Prince was the last, best concert I've been to. He was in Oakland a few years back. Full on old school. Morris Day and the Time opened. Candy Dulfer, Maceo Parker and the lead from Living Colour were all in the band. Man, I forgot how many songs he had.
I missed the opportunity once when he was at a small venue. I am definitely jealous.
