I think it is time for that guy to get a new TV! Look at all that great audio equipment and he has a shitty 27" GE?
C'Mon, man!
Is that Clint from Audioholics, I like the guy's reviews, but he really needs a new TV.

I think you need a new monitor, Snippy! That TV is a Toshiba.

Hey guys, look a little closer. Just above the left M80 and then scroll to the right. Is that not a screen for a Front Projector?

How about it Clint,
Would they image better with better placement? Or do you pull the M80s out when in use?

OK, now I see, is the projector new? Because I had always been bothered by his theater on the audioholics site because of that TV, or had I just never seen the projector screen? Now Clint gets my FULL respect.
Yeah, I knew that was a Toshiba, I was just exaggerating by calling it a GE, sorry if I offended anyone. I just could not believe that Clint would have a 4:3 non HDTV monitor considering all his other equipment.
It kinda reminded me of the guy on another forum who has expensive monster s-video cable for all 6 of his video game systems, yet only has a 20" TV he bought at Walmart for $160. Why would you spend that much money on wires ($50 each for all 6 systems) and keep the crappy TV when wires, especially S-Vid, do not really matter, but TV quality does.

Placement is definitely an issue. I tried to skeech by with that photo - in truth the configuration will only look like that for a couple of weeks. I'm getting in a Mitsubishi WS-55813 55" RPTV this week, so the center channel will move and the speakers will come forward quite a bit.
Of everything, the subwoofer is going to be the difficult one to place and may have to exist behind the mains or get positioned at the rear of the room. We'll see once I get everything up and do some crawling around...
It does look killer, though... :-)
The projector isn't new I've had it since March. It makes for some cool movie nights, but it's not a steller performer - just BIG. (DVDs play at 92" wide on the big screen)

Hawke,
What finish are the M80's in the above image? Reason I ask is that I have a Sanus rack that the color would (I believe) match well with that finish...
Still trying to decide...
