Hi guys, I been viewing you forum for quite a while and learning a lot about HT, while saving my dollars for the day to order my own speakers. Well, today is the day. I took the plunged and order from the factory outlet - M80, VP150, and 2 QS8. Now I have the dreaded FO wait. I will take the day off from work when they come in and enjoy setting them up and finally hearing and feeling what you all have been talking about. Thanks for all your help (even though you did not know it) and I will let you know how they sound to me.

If you can arrange for someone to accept the delivery, you might consider taking the 'next' day off work if your deliveries usually arrive mid/late afternoon. Having a full day is much more useful than getting your feet wet and going to work the next day with your speakers half set up. Assuming you need to run wire for rear QS8's, etc. Just a thought.

Well I'm glad you're behind me, that's exactly what I ordered, besides the EP800 that is. I wish you would have spoken up sooner though, I thought it was cool getting to know some of the regulars in here before actually making the purchase. Creating a lot of built up tension is quite rewarding. And it makes finally pulling the trigger more orgasmic...

Oh never mind me, welcome to the 'waiting game'... have a seat and try to keep your mind off of the speakers that will eventually be heading towards your house. HA, like that could ever happen!

Thanks guys for the reception. I had to post and run yesterday, so I could not stick around and chat. Thanks for the advice davekro, I just might do that. Micah, it sounds like you are going to have a great system. I could not swing for a new subwoofer also, without getting thrown out of the house. I think I pushed it enough with the M80. I am currently using a Polk Audio PSW303 subwoofer for now and what I learn from the forum is that the M80 will help me cover up missing a killer subwoofer for now.

Don't forget to wipe the nose prints off the front window every day. High WAF that one is.

Sometimes the FO wait isn't quite as long as Axiom says it will be. I'm pretty sure the 'X-week' wait is slightly pessimistic (which is a good thing, of course). My FO QS8's shipped about a week ahead of schedule, and I actually had them a couple of days before the 'X-week' estimate. I wish you the same luck.

I did not order from the FO - but my set came 2 weeks earlier than they originally projected. And....you will be thrilled.

Is it true that the anticipation is half the fun? I'm anxiously waiting for my M80 order to ship and wondering how long it is going to take. While I didn't order from the FO, I ordered a pair of VaSSallo Series M80s. It took about two weeks before shipping when I ordered my VaSSallo VP150 back in November. This time it's been almost three weeks so far but some extra time is understandable since we're talking about 2 speakers in much larger cabinets compared to the single VP150.

You're right - it is kind of like Christmas but not knowing when it will be. Since you have a whole system on the way, you will have lots of boxes to open whenever that day comes.

I've been lurking long enough to know the rules - post pictures when the goods come.
