Hi: I'm thoroughly enjoying my M-60's and VP-150 and ep-350 subwoofer(Again thanks Wayne(Fordprefect).I have a possible problem with my pioneer elite 56txi and this is the problem I read the manual for the pioneer and with the Multi-Channel input(So I can use the new formats(Audio) I'm only able to adjust the "Channel Levels" no other adjustments are possible (I'm pretty sure any adjustments are for all the inputs). I added 10db to the subwoofer level is it now going to be too loud when watching a dvd and listening to the old formats(DD,DTS)? Should just replace the pioneer to solve the problem? Thanks for your help as usual!
P.S I'm using a Panasonic Blu-ray player(BD-55) which has limited bass management adjustments.

Hello Stereoguy99
I have a receiver that does not decode the new audio formats so what I did was hook my Panny BD55 to my receiver through the multi-channel analog hookups as well as through a digital coax cable. Now what I do is for Blu-ray movies is use the multichannel analog so my BD55 can decode the DTSHD, Dolby True HD formats. For DVD's I switch my receiver to "DVD" and let the receiver take care of the bass management and decoding the Dolby Digital and DTS formats (coax cable).
IMO you do not need another receiver. The great thing about this is with the BD55, when switching inputs from multichannel analog to using the digital coax you do not have to change any menu settings like you have to do with some other BD players, just have to switch inputs.

Hi Dr House: that is what I've done with my pioneer too.The problem I'm noticing is my subwoofer sounds very quiet using the multi-channel input and the Panasonic player offers no adjustment for the sub output. Thanks for your suggestion Dr. Housr much appreciated!

Is that 10db boost you previously stated is that specifically for the multi channel analog? Can you turn it up higher? (set it to max).
You can also simply increase the volume gain on the subwoofer (for mc analog) and re-calibrate the receiver settings down (for DVD's) as well as decrease the speaker levels through the BD55 menu settings to help increase subwoofer output when using multi-channel analog.
