Yeah, Charles; Einstein had the strange hang-up that nothing with mass could actually reach the speed of light, but Einstein never met the Deaf Monk.

At the risk (or perhaps the honor) of sounding like CV, I once had a dream that I invented a way to accelerate matter almost up to the speed of light by figuring out a way to vibrate subatomic particles so that each time they vibrated towards a powerful electromagnetic device they vibrated just a little bit farther forward than they did backwards, thus moving the object forward at near light speed.
Unfortunately I woke up just before my speech on the breakthrough that made it possible..
