Not to hijack the thread, but i am also looking to add a SUB to my setup. I donot have much option with placement. It will be one corner in the front just beside the M80. No other place to keep it.
Am i better off going with down-firing like SVS cylinder or front firing 350 or 500 would be good too?
Also on the center channel (VP150), i have it on fireplace mantle and touching the wall. (no space behind), am i hampering the sound? Should it be moved away from the wall?
I will post photos soon. Got most of the setup done.
Help appreciated as always.

There's little difference between the front and down firing. If one was better, everyone would use it.
If space is an issue, the cylinders have a smaller footprint and tuck nicely in a corner.
The VP150 is not ported in the back, so it should be fine near the wall.

Isnt there an upgrade page somewhere here that tells you how much axiom will give you when you punch in the serial number of the speaker you want to upgrade? Someone put a link up once to it put I cant find it.

Thanks for the link. Is this link on the store or was it just sent to members? Just curious because I couldnt find it anywhere. Now have to decide what sub to get since I can get almost the full price for my EWP175 back according to the link anyways. Its between the 350, 400 or the 500 (this is a bedroom system.) probably the 500 that way if I trade up my fronts ever it will still match.

Thats easy. The 500 if size is not an issue and the budget allows. The 400 if space is an issue. The 350 if you need to fit a budget.

Well I did it I ordered the 500. Axiom is great in allowing the trade up deal. The people living next door to me might not think so though

That is a huge step up from the EP175 from a performance standpoint. A EP500 in a bedroom, wow! Thats serious yo!
