I found a site called maplemusic.com which promotes Canadian music out of Toronto. I can't say that all of the music is well priced but Loreena McKennitt music is far cheaper than I've come across on other sites, perhaps because she has her own private label. Keep in mind, the shipping charges too.

Yeah, the shipping's a gouge, but I've had to use them to get some exclusive Tegan and Sara stuff.

I mentioned a huge DVD collection at Woot a few weeks ago. Today they have a smaller collection. Still, at only ~$2 a disc, it might be a nice collection or gift.

That's a great deal Mark. Have they ever had specials on BD's?

What have people paid for Band of Brothers DVD or BD collection? Best (Canadian) I can find at this moment is $75 plus for DVD.

I paid 39$US at Amazon.com (final bill was about 52-53$CAN) for the blu-ray edition. But I think it was during a super special. I think right now it's around 45$US at amazon.com again, but nowadays they charge a major custom broker premium so I tend to avoid them.

Hate to upset you, but you could have bought it for $49.95 back in January I'd wait for the price to drop down some like many of the other Blu rays seem to be doing now, before buying it. It'll go on sale or drop sooner or later.

Not upset. It's for a gift that is not due until Nov. 3rd. My plan is to wait until I see a good deal, I just wanted to know what a good deal was.
