Audyssey is most likely compensating for 'what it hears' with the speaker in that cabinet. I suggest you leave Audyssey off until you can properly locate the center.

hi guys-
I didn't realize there were more posts here. Thanks for the responses. I am going to lift up the VT100 a bit and then, once the M2's come in on Thursday and then recalibrate everything. Thanks for your help!
