How would the Axiom 25' subwoofer cable ($63 to Malaysia) compared to THIS Belkin 25' cable ($11.50 b4 shipping)? Many has said cable is just cable, but by looking at the price differences, I still have doubt. Any suggestion are welcome.

There's no need to pay even $11.50 for that length of cable to connect a subwoofer. When I got my EP500 I ordered this Monoprice cable in a shorter length. It fits well and does this very simple job at reasonable cost. There's essentially no correlation between price and quality in these items.

coax is coax mpyw, you don't need to spend tons on a cable. Some actually make their own cables out of RG5 or RG6 coax, through some RCA connectors on each end and your done. As John mentioned Monoprice is what many of us use in the states, if they ship internationally, that would be a good option. I purchased a 25ft Component and 25ft HDMI cable from my projector for less than $50 total.

Many has said cable is just cable, but by looking at the price differences, I still have doubt. Any suggestion are welcome. The Blue Jeans cable website offers a plethora of knowledge on cables without any snake oil. Here is what they have to say about the subwoofer cable. In some ways, the subwoofer cable interconnect is the least demanding application in home theater. While HD video demands cables able to carry high-bandwidth signals, at tight impedance tolerances, the subwoofer cable has the relatively easy job of carrying a very low-frequency, very low-bandwidth signal. But a subwoofer cable has a critical job to do, and needs to do it well: keep out hum. Hum can come from ground loops (cable won't help you if that's the case, but see our isolation transformer below) or, often, from EMI (electro-magnetic interference). High-energy, low-frequency noise, like the 60-cycle hum from nearby power cords, fluorescent lights, and other miscellaneous sources, is the hardest type of interference to shield against, and the best defense here is a dense and highly-conductive braid shield. Our recommended subwoofer interconnect cables have not one, but two, dense braid shields, and in our testing we've found this to be the best shield configuration, outperforming conventional single-braid, braid-and-foil, and unbalanced twisted-pair cables when it comes to hum rejection. I ordered a Blue Jeans sub cable a month or two ago and am very happy with it.

I have a $20 Belkin cable connected to my $2000 subwoofer. I would have opted for Monoprice but I was in a hurry to plug it in. Don't overspend on cables. Get an inexpensive good quality cable and be happy.

I have a coat hanger wrapped with Duct Tape, saw it on the Red Green show, works like a charm.

Paying big prices for premium cables is not a waste. The extra money goes to towards replanting the cable forest.
With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.
