Hi guys,
In my media room, I'm looking to start from scratch with a new set of speakers. They have to be on wall (except the sub of course) to keep the wife happy. I've been looking at the axiom W22/W150 combo and hopefully some QS8s for the surrounds.
So, my question is: does anyone have any opionions/advice on how these would compare to other on wall speakers on the market? IN particular, I've heard some good things about the DefTech Mythos 2 line. Any thoughts from you guys are appreciated.
I will be using a Denon 3310 receiver if that makes any difference.
Thanks.

I have not heard the Mythos, but I did audition the Paradigm Cinema series. I ended up choosing the Axiom W series over the Paradigm's in the end. I just liked the sound and detail of the Axiom's better. And IMHO I think any surround speaker would be hard pressed to beat the QS8's. It was actually my dissatisfaction with the Paradigm surrounds that led me to find Axiom Q series initially. Then I found the W series and the rest is history - I am a very happy and satisfied Axiom owner.
My setup - W22's, W150, QS8x4 and EP500.
