OK, Today I bought an Oppo Blu-ray and a Denon 3310, as discussed with by you guys. Just waiting for confirmation that it's all OK and I will be ordering the next Epic 80-500s setup in Australia. Can't wait!!!!

sweet. I may have to upgrade my 3808 with a 3310! I'm really curious how dolby IIz will change things. It sounds pretty interesting.

To truly upgrade from the 3808 you have to go to the 4310 as that is the 3808's replacement accordign to Denon and are they charging quite a bit extra for it too. The 3310 is in the same price range as the 3808 was

I think initially, the 3808 was in the $1900 range. I *think* Or maybe that was my Marantz. I really like the idea of having the "height" speakers - it makes sense that it would add a lot to the sound stage. Of course that would mean two more QS8s (maybe 22's?) WAF may kick in here

I would think for the front heights you would want direct firing speakers... No? If you have 22's already, maybe 3's would work nicely.

M2's would be the ones to pair with M22's, M60, M80's.

It is just always noted that the M2, M22, M60, M80 sound similar for a better tonal match. I have heard the M3's and they are somewhat muted compared to the rest, then again, I find the M60s a bit muted compared to my M22's or M80's
