I have a similar problem as fiveptone (he posted about this).
My situation: I'm currently using Mirage OM250s (floorstanders) as rear/surrounds (in the back corners). They're fine and dandy, but my seats have high backs that totally destroy the sound field. I don't have anywhere to mount surround speakers on the sidewalls (a door on one side, sliding glass doors on the other), which is why I went with floorstanders. There are only two locations on the side walls where they could go. 1) on the side wall about 30-40 degrees in front of the sitting position, or 2) just behind the sitting position, but right up against the ceiling. I don't think either would work.
So I'm left with mounting from the ceiling and angling them down towards the listening position. I'm still not crazy about that though.
Any suggestions?
Shane

Shane, how about 6' high on the back wall and just about a foot from the side walls with the outside tweeters relecting off them?
