Unfortunately no one seems to care about WM9.

Other than T2, what can you see in WM9?

All DVD's currently released that has a stamped remastered in "HIGH DEFINITION" can be played on WM9. Just resently I have seen this stamp..umm in ... Bad Boys 2, Sinbad and lots of other titles released in the last 1-2 weeks. I don't think most people even noticed it. I'm waiting for someone in avsforum to notice this and confirm my findings.
Before you could not play regular DVDs with the current WM9 codecs unless you use a 3rd party one.
ps:check the back of the DVD in one of the boxes that you see DTS and DD there should be something thats says remastered HIGH DEFINITION. And there is a difference because when I play the DVD in NVDVD vs WM9 there is difference even in the playback resolution. The resolution in both players are different. I could not confirm if it looked better though becuase when I ran it in WM9 the resolution did not put full screen because the resolution I am running is 1280x720p rather than the 1920x1080p.

Wow...did you notice that one of the only two 1080p demos is an IMAX film?

yep...my co-worker actually put together the titles and minor fx in that trailer. I also recorded the entire trailer out for the IMAX theatres as well.
That 1080p stuff on the MS site did indeed look nice. I wonder what it would look like on a 60" tv. (I was only viewing it on a 19" monitor.)

Got a return reply from some avsforum members and they said it is no higher quality than standard DVD. So I guess we wait.
