I am finally expanding my 2.1 stereo rig to a full blown home theater set-up.
I bought a Pioneer receiver. There is a single subwoofer-out. My sub, however, has red/white line level inputs, or the high level inputs.
What is the best way to connect the sub and take advantage of the receiver?
Thank you all for your consideration.
Steven

Hook it up with the sub out from the receiver using an rca type cable (sub cable). It shouldn't matter what input, red or white, connection you use as the are normally summed.
Read your receiver manual to get the proper set up for speaker size, distance and crossover points.

Use the subwoofer out on the reciever and connect it to the line level input on the sub, either one, REd or White will work.

Excellent! I didn't know if either one would work.
Thanks for the help and the very quick reply.

Use the subwoofer out on the reciever and connect it to the line level input on the sub, either one, REd or White will work. I just went and looked at the EP125 v1 that I have in storage. You actually need to use the White RCA jack. I'm sure everyone just assumed that the Red and White were right and left as that is a standard convention, but on the EP125 V1 the Red RCA is line out and the White RCA is line in. You want to use line in.

If that's the case it makes no sense that Axiom would use the universal color code known to be right and left.
