Hi All,
How does this sound for an A/V receiver configuration with M22s, QS8s, VP150 and sub:
Dynamic Range Compression : OFF Front, Centre,Surround Speaker Size : SMALL Surround Speaker Position : Behind/High Sub Cut off (on the Sub) : Maximum (140)
Settings I am not too sure about: Digital Audio Input Decoding priority : Auto/DEC PCM Cross Over Frequency : 70(?)
Any ideas?

I would put the crossover for each speaker at 80hz to start, you might use a slightly higher setting for the Qs8's...

Any ideas? If the components are connected through HDMI, then the Digital Input setting does not apply. If not, then AUTO is usually a safe bet. Use whatever xover setting sounds best to you. Most settle on 80hz or thereabouts

SirQuack and BigHonu,
Well, after having a whole day of cutting holes in walls to get the wires to where I need them, I have finally sat doing and done some preliminary analysis.
Firstly, due to the requirements of the QS8s, I have moved the seats closer to the screen and wow - why the heck didn't I do that sooner?
All speakers working fine, auto calibration has been run, now for the fun stuff...
The first thing I put on was a scene from Kingdom of heaven. So far so good. Then Gladiator- first battle scene against the huns. Now this is promising....
Then scene 13 from Underworld evolutions. Holy &^%$^&*^&5!@. I mean *&&%*&*^ choice bro...
Whilst these speakers have not been run in yet I am hearing much more detail. and due to the large screen (2m widescreen), we now know what it means to feel like we're in the movie.
These speakers should come with Drug warnings like
Do not use if on illegal or strong medicinal drugs. You will probably end up thinking you were one of the characters and get issued with one of those neat jackets - you know, the ones with the pockets at the back.
Now the funny stuff. My wife was busy getting our 2 year old ready for bed upstairs. When she came down she was blown away. She said the little one got a bit scared (probably the gladiator scene).
When the little one came down into the room for the first time today, his response was : "Wow, Nice Music. Watch TV?" So stuart Little was on, we put that on and our little one could hardly stay on his seat. Rolling around. "Oh, Wow. Mouse"...
So the speakers aren't going back. They have impressed me, My wife and our Son. With having almost all the other peices in place (projector, screen, Ps3 etc). The addition of these speakers has added a quantum effect to our Value home theatre system.
Pictures to follow.

It's nice to hear the whole family enjoying it, esp the little tyke!
