So I just pulled the trigger and got the in wall:

W150, W22 and qs4s

And I missed spelled my email address on the order.. so

How long does it take to get the speakers in amerika

Its a small room 10.5 by 11 so I think Im covered, but still need to order the qs4s for the back 7.1

Im going to be happy, aren;t I?

email to Noreen at AxiomAudio.com to correct the address. And use that as a pretext to quietly query the info! \:\)

Currently I have my center and sides above the screen.

I have my screen at the 18. something" to the bottom that TV stands and what Ive read suggest

Should I mount the 150, below and angle it up or above and angle down

I work for a manufacturer of custom casegoods so I can have the "Angler made and the finished matched" to the speakers

Thanks

Jeff

that room sounds to small for 7.1, where are you sitting in relationship to the rear wall? For 5.1 place the Q's to the side and slightly behind the seating area, for 7.1 the side Q's go to the side directly, and the rears behind you a ways, assuming you have space.

You normally want the tweeters of the front 3 speakers to be as close to ear level (when seated) as possible. The inwalls migh be difficult to angle.

I actually used the HDTV figuer I found at one time, and actually placed the tv, the watching position and all based on that chart

The W's are great, you will love them. I also agree the 7.1 is probably a waste, my room is much larger than that and 5.1 is plenty, and I am pretty picky. Maybe try it as it is and if you think 5.1 will be good, switch the QS4's for some QS8's within 30 days and save yourself from buying the 6 and 7 speakers? Of course if it sounds great with the QS4's you can just leave it too :).

No new Axiom sub (yet) I have a 10" JBL sub that I'm using now.

I've never heard any Axiom speakers so just going on what I've read. If I like them I will probably pick up a sub too eventually.

I did email Axiom today to upgrade the QS4 to QS8s. About 5 minutes after I sent the email, I got an email from Axiom stating my speakers have shipped (those boys are fast!) So too late I guess for now.

I work for a high-end casegood manf. I think I will have the plant build me an angled spacer for the W150 to tilt it toward the proper listening height. The plant can match the veneer and finish of the Axiom cabinets.

I'll probably try them just against the wall first. They arent to much higher than seated listening height. Maybe 12" to 15"

My current infinity fronts tilt to the proper listening height, so maybe the spacer.

I suggest you put (or save) that extra money on a sub. The sub is the most important speaker and 7.1 over 5.1 is most beneficial when you have a room with two rows of seating so that the back row can also enjoy the surround effects.

I have the EP350 in a room just slightly bigger than yours (11X13 feet, 7 foot ceilings) and it produces MORE than enough bass. You can be anywhere in the house and feel the floor shaking from the sub in the basement!

I've got a smaller room as well, roughly 12 by 17. My Outlaw LFM1 delivers plenty of bass for that room, but I want more extension and more bass that I can feel in my gut if the scene calls for it. I'm also lusting after something like the EP600 that extends down very low, is linear but is still good at music.

Being in the states you have a lot of different subs to choose from. I'd have to say the EP600 is a tad over kill for that size room.

Well, I have plans to have a dedicated room that is hopefully a little bit large in a few years. A projector and a larger sub are the two things that I want in there. Although, if I had the money to get one right now (and I could convince my wife that a speaker the size of a small refrigerator is okay in the living room) then I would do it.

My reply was intended for the OP, his room is rather small.

Did someone say 'more than enough bass'??? I've googled that phraze several times, and I still can't get it to come up with anything. I was going to try Bing next but I got so entranced with the picture of that beautiful waterfall I forgot what I was searching for?
