When I saw Petty, he had on that cowboy hat with the feather hatband, cowboy boots and shades. I said to the guy I was travelin with - Hey, That's Richard Petty! My buddy said - no it isn't. Right at that time somebody walked up and asked for an autograph. I said See....I told you that was Richard. My buddy maintained that it was not....
