I'm sure you already have the V2. The changes were implemented in 03. I went and dug around in jumble of receipts and invoices I have collected through the years and found the Axiom invoices. I purchased the M80s on Sep7 2004 they are the "m80ti" x2 $522 a piece. WOW! nice price! I got excited thinking I was wrong about the version but as usual I was right!

Not to be argumentative but I can't recall Alan ever mentioning new drivers as part of the V2 designation. I did find he mention the crossover change in this thread and it was done in 03.

Just because it doesn't say V2 does not mean you don't have the same speaker as was later designated as the V2.

That's good to hear.... I mean I am not unhappy with the Axioms I have but you know how this hobby is, "always searching for something a little better" That said I really like the Boston Cherry finish! Thanks for the info.

Rad, I bought mine just a couple of weeks after yours! We're like "Ti Twins"! What an exciting day that was! I was upgrading from a Klipsch Sat/Sub system and when Axioms arrived I was like "OMG! This is great"! Next thing you know new receiver, new big screen I'd opened Pandora's box so to speak.

Hi Radtek2,
Sorry I did not pick up sooner on your location! We should get together some time if it's convenient.
I have M60's. I do not have upgradeitis in that area.

What area do you have upgraditis in? I think they might make a cream for that.
