I'd give that show a try. I remember reading good things before, but it never made my list for whatever reason.

Have you continued watching Gunslinger Girl or have you given up on it?

I will watch the second season at some point, but it'll be a little while. I'm interested enough to keep going.

Ok, so it's not tonight, but I saw Fantastic Mr. Fox last week with my family and we all loved it. Great story, great stop-motion animation, just all around fantastic (heh).

Whenever someone in a regular Wes Anderson movie would be cussing, they substitute the swear work with "cuss", i.e. "Are you cussing with me?" and "What the cuss?" \:\)

So rent/buy and enjoy this masterpiece. \:\)

Peter, thanks for reminding me. I wanted to see that movie when it was in the theater, but didn't get a chance. I enjoy the works of both Wes Anderson and Roald Dahl.

I saw it in the theater over Christmas with my folks. The movie was good!

The theater was horrible, though! We got there early enough and sat in the middle. It was one of the main screens and everything seemed good. Well, the movie started and it sounded like everyone was talking in a tunnel. I had a very hard time understanding the dialogue all the way through. Turns out, so did my parents. On the way out, I put my hand up against the wall and felt concrete. I scanned all the walls and saw there was no cover or anything. No wonder the sound was horrible! It was bouncing around all over the place in there.

I'm eager to watch it again at home so I can understand some of the jokes and other dialogue.

Sean we pre-ordered the BR version and it came in today but will not watch it until tomorrow night ... can't do a late niter with work at first daylight tomorrow morning. I was curious because I started reading some reviews and it was pretty much a mixed bag, some loved it while some hated it.

I usually take most reviews with a grain of salt but will listen to my Axiom brethren here on the board, this is more of a 'real world' review to me.

Oh man, the pressure is on now!

The thing I liked best was the new take on Sherlock Holmes and kinda showing how his thought process works.

Oh, and it's definitely geared toward the action-oriented audiences, while still trying to make things a mystery.

It was a fun movie. \:\)

That's great to know, I did the pre-order deal through Amazon and didn't believe it was going to be in until sometime next week ... I was pleasantly surprised whenever it came in today.
