SO I got my epic grandmaster 500 set yesterday and hooked it up! AMAZING!!!
I watched transformers and realized just how much I was missing with my old subwoofer!
There may or may not be a thread on this already, but I would like to get cable recommendations from everyone. I currently am using blue jeans 12 g speaker wire, and a monster subwoofer cable. (bought before I knew better)
Is Transparent Cables one of those companies that simply sells overpriced cables, or are they actually worth the money?
This is my witty signature.

I'd stick with Blue Jeans.

Is Monoprice past the hacking episode?

Transparent is indeed a snake oil company. Blue Jeans all the way! Great quality cable, made in America, at good prices. Perfect fit Axiom speakers.

Keep your Blue Jeans cables, they are just as good, well better actually, as you didn't pay an overinflated price for them.
Yes, Monoprice is over the hacking episode.

Yes, Jeremy; Transparent is simply one of those companies that sells overpriced cables, the added cost apparently being necessary to compensate for the extra expense in composing advertising lies. Both your Blue Jeans speaker wire and the Monster cable work fine, although you probably paid far too much for the Monster. Excellent low-cost online sources include MonoPrice and the Tartan Cable division of Blue Jeans.

I bought all of my cables from either bluejeans or monoprice. Stick with what you have.
