Sooo... you make up for it by purchasing the ultimate Axiom HT??? Lol, j/k! What can I say, I got a little carried away! Ultimate Axiom HT? That's debatable. I do like it though.

Considering you have an EP800 and 500, 1400-8 and M80s as surrounds, I would say it's right up there! Enjoy! When I move (in 12 months or so), I plan on getting the VP180 and A1400. I still won't be able to crank it up, but knowing I have them will make me happy!

Does anyone can tell me whats the height of the VP180 at the backside... speaker depth is 17" Speaker height is 9.25" at the front -- XXX?? at the back -- after the slope..

The rear of the VP180 is just shy of 7-1/8" inches high.

The unit is quite massive, but I haven't been happier with any HT purchase in the last ten years that I have been with the VP-180. This includes the purchase of my Elite 60" I made back in March 2009. Good luck trying to convince yourself that the VP-150 will be enough...
